Policy for Make-up Lessons

Things come up for your family and things come up for our teachers - it happens! Here is a refresher on our makeup/cancellation policy. (These were agreed to upon signing up for lessons and can be found on our website).

  • Randall Music School does not issue refunds for missed classes. 

  • Classes may be rescheduled as long as teacher is notified at least 24 hours before lesson time. 

  • If students are sick, parents must reschedule 24 hours before lesson or switch the lesson to online. 

  • If your teacher is out of town, students are provided with a makeup lesson or Randall Music School teacher as a substitute. If you decide to forgo the makeup class or substitute, Randall Music School cannot provide a refund for these classes - (we have already hired a substitute to cover the lesson.)

Our teachers are on a tight schedule so it's important to notify them when you'll need to reschedule. We understand your family is on a tight schedule as well - we have reminded our teachers as well to give as much time as possible before a trip/lesson cancellation.

Subscription Policy

  • Randall Music School has a fixed monthly subscription rate.

  • If you cancel after your billing date and you've been charged, your student may finish out the billing cycle. You will not be refunded if you don't use the remaining lessons within the billing cycle.

On-Time policy

  • If you are running late to pick up your student, you will be charged an additional fee. Please do not show up early for your student's lesson time if the teacher is hosting lessons.

  • If teacher is late, student will receive entire length of scheduled lesson.

  • If student is late, lesson will still end at scheduled time.

Materials Policy

  • All students are responsible for having their own materials.

  • Teachers will not be responsible for purchasing/providing learning or homework materials for students.

  • Due to copyright law, teachers cannot provide copies of materials used by Randall Music School.

2025 Holiday Schedule

Listed are the US Federal Holidays Randall Music School observes. Our fixed monthly rates already account for these holidays off, so there are no pricing adjustments for holidays. There will be no lessons on the following days:

  • Winter Break Closure - December 23rd, 2024 - January 3rd, 2025

  • MLK Day - January 20th

  • Washington's Birthday/Presidents Day - February 17th

  • Memorial Day - May 26th

  • Independence Day - July 4th

  • Labor Day - September 1st

  • Veterans Day - November 11th

  • Thanksgiving - November 26th-November 28th
